On Friday, a gastronomically delightful lunch with Jen in the 5-star café at Whole Foods Market in Fairfax. When did grocery stores become full-fledged restaurants? The Wegman’s effect, I suppose. And that evening, a long-delayed PVI reunion with Michele & Maria.
On Saturday, the Pane/Rowan/Haley/Blue/White family joined together for another classic Italian dinner, which for our family means at least two main dishes and a 1:2 ratio of desserts to mouths. In this case, two pans of Kathleen's 4-Layer Dessert, Lauren's brownies, and Italian Wedding Cookies.
